Program: Wholesome Medley
Wholesome Medley includes whole foods
that contain vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and other
phytonutrients to support all the major organ systems
during purification. In addition, this program
contains foods that will maintain healthy weight
consistently. This program is called Wholesome
Medley because it contains a variety of whole foods that
promote a long term commitment for the health of your
body. Once you complete this program, continue to
eat plenty of raw vegetables and fruits, and resist the
temptation of sugar-laden treats.
Food
Intake: Weeks 1-3
For the first three weeks, consume only the items listed
here in addition to your supplementation. Use
organic fruits and vegetables if available.

(Organic), fruits (40%) and vegetables (60%) you would like!
You may steam
½ of your vegetables, may have ½ pad of organic, (preferably un-pasteurized/un-salted),
butter on your steamed veggies.
If you like to sautι your vegetables, use USDA certified organic Coconut oil
from
www.tropicaltraditions.com. Coconut oil has a flash point of
approximately 460 degrees while vegetable oils such as olive oil have flash
points below 160 degrees. Note, a flash point, due to heating oils, is
when the molecule becomes a harmful "trans" fat. For a special
treat while cleansing try the Coconut cream as well. Its great just by
itself, "you'll love it!"
If you are experiencing sugar handling
issues such as hypo/hyperglycemia, no
bananas, corn or white potatoes. These are high in sugar, or high on the
glycemic index, and may affect your blood sugar, energy and slow weight loss.
For a bedtime snack, its best to eat a protein and fat combination such as
avocado with tomatoes and olive oil or a Metabolic Cleanse shake.
You may use
all the spices you desire, unless you have arthritis. Avoid the
Nightshades:

Meal replacement shake (Metabolic Cleanse) 3 times per
day:
20
oz of purified H2O in a blender (No Ice!), with one scoop of the
Metabolic Cleanse powder and one scoop of the
Whey Protein Isolate powder for additional protein.
Add 1
cup of fresh or frozen fruit such as Blueberries, apples, peaches

Exercise
For optimal results, it is highly recommended that you walk
everyday, while on the cleanse, for 60 minutes, at
65-75% of your maximum heart rate (220-Age=Max).
This is an essential way to increase respiration,
circulation, oxygenation and oxidation, as well as getting
your lymphatic system moving. Strenuous exercise
should be put on hold during the three week period,
allowing all you reserves to lend to detoxification.
Consult with your health care professional if you are
currently on an exercise program that you would like to
maintain throughout the purification program.
What you can
expect after purification
You now have the opportunity to
continue your purification and weight management program
with the guidance of your health care professional.
Over the past three weeks, you have taken the time to
learn about your body and its needs, and for those
interested in a more complete cleansing program, it is
recommended that you take part in the
Liver/Gallbladder Flush
immediately following the cleanse. Now adapt the
principles you have learned from your program into your
lifestyle. Choose to heal your body each and
