Purification Programs  

Modified Program:  Wholesome Medley
Wholesome Medley includes whole foods that contain vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and other phytonutrients to support all the major organ systems during purification.  In addition, this program contains foods that will maintain healthy weight consistently.  This program is called Wholesome Medley because it contains a variety of whole foods that promote a long term commitment for the health of your body.  Once you complete this program, continue to eat plenty of raw vegetables and fruits, and resist the temptation of sugar-laden treats.

Food Intake:  Weeks 1-3
For the first three weeks, consume only the items listed here in addition to your supplementation.  Use organic fruits and vegetables if available.

3-4 ounces of unseasoned lean meat, fish or poultry twice daily
Simply prepared - broiled, baked, etc.
1-2 eggs per day (Note:  Daily protein consumption can be less if desired.)
Simply prepared - scrambled, boiled, poached, etc.

All the fresh, (Organic), fruits (40%) and vegetables (60%) you would like!  You may steam ½ of your vegetables, may have ½ pad of organic, (preferably un-pasteurized/un-salted), butter on your steamed veggies.

If you like to sautι your vegetables, use USDA certified organic Coconut oil from www.tropicaltraditions.com.  Coconut oil has a flash point of approximately 460 degrees while vegetable oils such as olive oil have flash points below 160 degrees.  Note, a flash point, due to heating oils, is when the molecule becomes a harmful "trans" fat.  For a special treat while cleansing try the Coconut cream as well.  Its great just by itself, "you'll love it!"  

If you are experiencing sugar handling issues such as hypo/hyperglycemia, no bananas, corn or white potatoes. These are high in sugar, or high on the glycemic index, and may affect your blood sugar, energy and slow weight loss. For a bedtime snack, its best to eat a protein and fat combination such as avocado with tomatoes and olive oil or a Metabolic Cleanse shake.

You may use all the spices you desire, unless you have arthritis. Avoid the

Avoid these foods during the detox if you have arthritis. (Post detox will rotate them in thus testing their affect on you)

Meal replacement shake (Metabolic Cleanse) 3 times per day:
20 oz of purified H2O in a blender (No Ice!), with one scoop of the Metabolic Cleanse powder and one scoop of the Whey Protein Isolate powder for additional protein.  Add 1 cup of fresh or frozen fruit such as Blueberries, apples, peaches
1 packet of “Stevia” or Agave nectar, to help sweeten.

*Certain individuals may require additional protein during this program.  Please consult with your health care professional regarding the addition of Whey Protein Isolate to your daily shakes, or any other questions regarding this program.

Days 11-21 (No diary, grains, coffee or colas)
Continue the diet as stated above, adding in fish 2-3 times per day
• Choose deep ocean fish like Salmon, Cod, Halibut, Mahi Mahi, Tuna etc.
• Avoid local lake fish
• Do not fry
Occasionally you may have turkey, chicken, buffalo or red meat
• ONLY free-range, antibiotic-free, hormone-free
• Baking or roasting preferred to grilling or frying
• Fish to other meat ratio about 3:1

Days 1 - 21 (Go to bed by 10:30 PM)
All the Green Tea you would like. Try creative ideas like a sweet potatoes or yams with butter and Cinnamon.

Drinking at least 64oz of water and sweating everyday is Critical!
• If you are experiencing severe sugar/carbohydrate cravings, (pasta, bread, white potatoes, sugar etc…), avoid bananas, make sure to include the  GlucoBrium containing gymnema at 1 tablet 2-3 times per day. This will be your life saver!

When followed as directed, this purification program has shown in clinical practice to offer great rewards in terms of desired outcomes and patient satisfaction.  Any alteration of the instructions allows for variables that could decrease the benefits of the program, therefore, it is recommended that the instructions are followed completely and not modified.

Supplementation - Wholesome Medley
Metabolic Cleanse shakes, Opti EPA and Ultra D tox are recommended throughout the Wholesome Medley program.  The LivDetox is recommended for the first 20 days only and the Opti EPA and GFS 2000 are recommended ongoing, throughout the 90 post detox protocol.

Week One
3 Metabolic Cleanse shakes per day
2 LivDetox tablets three times per day
2 Ultra D tox capsules three times per day
3 GFS 2000 capsules three times per day
1 Opti EPA soft gel three times per day

Weeks Two and Three
3 Metabolic Cleanse shakes per day (or until you run out)

PLEASE NOTE THAT SUPPLEMENTS SHOULD BE TAKEN WITH A SHAKE OR WATER, BUT NOT WITH MEALS.  SUPPLEMENTS CAN ALSO BE TAKEN AT LEAST ONE HOUR BEFORE OR TWO HOURS AFTER MEALS OR DIRECTLY BEFORE BED.

Exercise
For optimal results, it is highly recommended that you walk everyday, while on the cleanse, for 60 minutes, at 65-75% of your maximum heart rate (220-Age=Max).  This is an essential way to increase respiration, circulation, oxygenation and oxidation, as well as getting your lymphatic system moving.  Strenuous exercise should be put on hold during the three week period, allowing all you reserves to lend to detoxification.  Consult with your health care professional if you are currently on an exercise program that you would like to maintain throughout the purification program.

What you can expect after purification
You now have the opportunity to continue your purification and weight management program with the guidance of your health care professional.  Over the past three weeks, you have taken the time to learn about your body and its needs, and for those interested in a more complete cleansing program, it is recommended that you take part in the Liver/Gallbladder Flush immediately following the cleanse.  Now adapt the principles you have learned from your program into your lifestyle.  Choose to heal your body each and everyday by consuming pure foods rich in vitamins and minerals.

The Total cost for this program is $258.00

Please note that as of March 14, 2008 it is mandatory that every new client complete and return, both the Toxicity Questionnaire prior to shipping your products for the 21 Day Body Purification Program.

This ensures that, not only do you qualify to take part in the program, but also which, if any, symptoms are present and to what degree they are playing a role in your current state of health. Please be sure to include any medications you may be taking such as (Coumadin).
