Liver Gallbladder Flush

* Always consult with a physician before embarking upon any health program including a Gallbladder Flush!

** If Gallstones are suspected, consult with your health care practitioner prior to beginning.

Day One

  • Eat a no-fat breakfast and a no-fat lunch, preferably oatmeal with water, or a plain baked white potato. Do not eat or drink after 2:00 pm.
  • Mix 2 tablespoons of Epsom salts in 1 1/2 cups of water and refrigerate. This will make up two doses.
  • At 6:00 pm, drink half of the mixture from step 2. It tastes pretty bad so do it as quickly as possible.
  • At 8:00 pm, drink the remaining half of the mixture.
  • Ready a bottle of extra virgin pressed olive oil and two large grapefruits. Prepare your evening so that you'll be ready for bed promptly at 10:00 pm.
  • At 9:45 pm, fresh squeeze 3/4 cup of grapefruit juice (remove the pulp), add 1/2 cup of olive oil, then shake it very well.
  • At 10:00 pm drink the mix fairly quickly. A straw helps. Drink it while standing up.
  • Lie down immediately after drinking it and stay very still, on your right side, for approximately 30 minutes, then go to sleep.
  • It's not uncommon to experience nausea and gastrointestinal discomfort during the night, however there should be no pain.
  • Day Two

  • When you get up, take 2 tablespoons of Epsom salts in three-quarters of a cup of water, followed by grapefruit juice. Expect loose watery bowels in the morning. This should be done 1-2 hours before breakfast. The bowel movements are often filled with pea colored "stones", sometimes 100 or more.
  • Eat only fruit for breakfast and a no-fat lunch, preferably oatmeal with water, or a plain baked white potato.
  • POST Flush

  • For the next day or two, eat soft vegetables and drink plenty of water. Adding Garlic is advised as well.
