Body Detox Diet
The 10 & 21 Day Body Detox Diets for your health
In naturopathic healing, there is a simple 3 step process. First, we detoxify the body
, second we nourish the body, and third, when necessary, we medicate the body. As you know, in our society, we are quick to medicate against signs and symptoms which are seldom the root cause of what ails us. In addition, our nourishment is suspect, and we rarely, if ever detoxify the body
Hippocrates once said, "The natural healing force within each one of us is the greatest force in getting well. He also said, "Let your food be your medicine, and your medicine be your food." You need only ignite the healing force within.
A detox diet
, also known as detox diet plans
or a body cleansing diet
, is the cleanse detox diet
which assists your body with the removal of natural toxins to detoxify the body
. The Liver, kidneys, digestive tract and colon, lymphatic system, bladder, lungs, and skin are the major systems/organs that are involved in a detox diet cleanse
Because we are exposed to high levels of foreign substances and over consume chemically treated, synthetically produced food, a detox diet
is needed. The MBS detox cleansing diet
utilizes nutrient dense, whole food supplements, organic foods and natural spring water to give the body cleansing diet
the resources it needs to purify and rebuild itself naturally.
Our 10 & 21 day detox diet plans
place an emphasis on the liver and colon because these two organs play a major role in supporting the digestive system. Our detox diet plans
accomplish this via the use of supplements such as the Ultra Protein Plus
, Ultra Protein Green
, GFS 2000
, Quell Fish Oil
, Multi Probiotic
The Importance of a healthy diet
Given proper nutrition, the human body has an amazing ability to heal itself. To do so, we need to eat a healthier diet, exercise, and take high-quality supplements made from whole foods.
These supplements supply our bodies with nutrients we are not getting from our diet such as vitamins, minerals, trace minerals, and phytonutrients that foods possess in a way that nature intended, in a whole food form.
The Mediterranean Diet 1200-2000 calories per day
The Mediterranean Diet is considered to be the healthiest diet in the world due to the healthy proportion of macro nutrients: 40% Carbohydrates, 30% Protein and 30% Fat. At approximately 2000 calories per day, the following is a break down of the daily requirement in both calories and grams:
- Carbohydrates - 800 calories (200 grams)
- Protein - 600 calories (150 grams)
- Fat - 600 calories (67 grams)
Eat right for your (ABO) blood type
In addition to a healthy balance of macro nutrients, it is further recommended that you "Eat Right For Your Blood Type."
3 OUT OF 4
Appear to be the odds that your health will improve by following the right diet for your blood type. The facts are clearcut: In the 6617 individuals who reported their results from following the Blood Type Diet for a period of one month or more, three out of four (71-78%) had significant improvement in a variety of health conditions. Weight loss was the effect most often observed but a number of reports detailed improvements in digestive function, resistance to stress, overall energy and mental clarity.
The percentages (71-78%) of visitors reporting positive results are consistent across all the blood types. Type O (following a higher protein lower-carb diet) appeared as likely to report positive results as Type A (following a lower fat, plant-based diet) or types B and AB (following a more omnivorous diet.)
The results certainly appear to question many of the standardized one size fits all diets advanced by the diet gurus, governments and agribusiness.
